Opt Out

Ask us to stop including you in results and to delete what we have cached about you.

If you do not want your public profile appearing in the data we provide to our customers, use this form. It is free, you do not need an account, and you do not have to give a reason.

Before you start, it is worth reading what we do and do not hold. In most cases the answer is that we hold nothing about you at all.

What this will and will not do

We will:

  • Filter your profile out of results we return from then on
  • Delete any cached technical record that matches your profile

We cannot:

  • Retrieve data already provided to a customer. If somebody received your information before you opted out, it is in their systems and we have no way to reach into them. You would need to contact them directly.
  • Remove the content from the platform it was posted on. We do not control the public sources. To take the content down at source, or make it private, you need to do that on the platform where it was published. That is also the single most effective step available to you, because it removes the content from everyone collecting public data, not just from us.

Your request

Please paste the full web address of the profile. A username on its own does not tell us which platform it belongs to, and we would rather match you exactly than guess and remove the wrong person.

Optional, but without it we have no way to confirm the request is yours or to tell you when it is done. We use it for this request only.

What happens next

We will action your request within one month, and usually much sooner. We may email you first to confirm the request is genuinely yours, so that nobody can opt out on your behalf without your knowledge.
